If you need a good toner which will help reduce the occurrence of pimple and blackheads, use AGUA MARAVILLA. It is made from witch hazel extract and it is a natural astringent.

Directions:

1) Buy a bottle at any naturalist store or drug store.
2) Put the bottle in the fridge
3) Damp a cotton with the witch hazel extract and rub it on your face.

* If you do not like the smell (which I LOVE) you can mix it with Rose Water.

DIY French Manicure with a Twist

Materials:

Essie Fiji

Essie Lilacism

Base Coat

Extra Shiny Top Coat

Buffer

1) Buffer your nail into a oval-square shape.

2) Apply the base coat.

3) Apply 2 coats of Essie's Lilacism. Let them dry completely.

4) Carefully create a line at the edge of your nail (just like a french manicure).

5)Apply the top coat.

6) Let dry for 30 minutes.

Travel Hair and Makeup Must-Haves!

For all those girls on the go, here is my suggestion on what beauty supplies to bring along!

Hair:
Shampoo
Conditioner
Hair Blower*
Morrocan Oil (travel size)
Small Round Natural Bristle Brush
Bendable Brush (the one that comes for purses, Scunci makes them)
Bobby Pins
Hair Ties
Any other hair accessory you like

*A hair blower is not always necessary since most hotels provide one.

Make Up:
Primer
Concealer
Blush
Mascara
Black Shadow
Beige Shadow
Darkish Purple
Bronzer

Make Up

If you use the Beige and Purple shadow , you have a quick day make up. If you add black shadow, such as carbon by MAC, you´ll get a quick night smokey eye.

Use the primer before your makeup because  it will make your makeup last all through out the day or night. The Primer also helps to control oily shine. Use the Bronzer to contour your face. And always remember, a little mascara goes a long way!

Hair

Take your favorite shampoo and conditioner in a travel size bottle. You can find them in Walgreens and then all you have to do is transfer a from you big bottle to the small ones. Moroccan Oil is a MUST since it work as an anti-frizziness and as a split end leave in treatment. If you have bangs, remember to bring bobby pins and headbands for emergencies.

A good hair style for on the go, is the side-rope braid that I teached you to make in a previous post. It is perfect for hair with bangs or no bangs, curly, straight (basically all hair styles)

Loving this look

When I was younger, I used to do this style with toe rings on my hand fingers. Now Erika Peña has designed this rings just for that. they add an extra layer of creativity to your fingers and they sell for about $30! (good price for an Erika Peña piece) This is definitely on my wish list! Even Rihanna is using them..!
